Ambassador Raveesh Kumar had a productive and engaging visit to the vibrant city of Brno, as part of the Embassy’s outreach initiative. The visit explored various avenues for deepening collaboration between India and Brno.
During his visit to the Infosys head office, Ambassador met with the Regional Head of Infosys Jan Skotak and other senior officials to discuss about the company’s operations in Czechia, and its
plans for growth in the region.
This was followed by a productive interaction with Vice Chair of Board of Director Tomas Kubala and other officials from the Brno Regional Chamber of Commerce, exploring opportunities for enhancing trade and investment between Indian and Czech businesses, particularly in aerospace and life-sciences. Presentations were made by TRL Space, HUTIRA and STROJíRNA OSLAVANY, spol. s r. o.
At Masaryk University Brno, Ambassador met Vice Rector Petr Suchý and explored opportunities for student and academic exchanges, while at Mendel University in Brno, he met Vice Rector Ji?í Skládanka and was briefed about ongoing cooperation and discussed potential collaborations in mobility & partnerships with Indian universities.
The visit also included participation at Ganeshotsav celebrations, and a warm and engaging interaction with Indian students and professionals in Brno, discussing their experiences and contributions to both India and Czechia.
This visit exemplifies Embassy’s ongoing efforts to strengthen ties across Czechia, extending engagement beyond the capital.
