A grand reception to mark the 76th Republic Day of India

A grand reception was hosted by Ambassador Raveesh Kumar and Ranjana Raveesh at the historic Zofin Palace in Prague to mark the 76th Republic Day of India. The evening was a vibrant celebration of India-Czech relations and India's rich cultural heritage.
In his welcome address, Ambassador Kumar emphasized the growing partnership between India and the Czech Republic, highlighting India's remarkable growth journey and the ongoing Mahakumbh, recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

The Chief Guest, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Jiri Kozak, underlined the special warmth in our bilateral ties, noting the frequent high-level exchanges, and announced that Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky will soon visit India to attend the Raisina Dialogue.

The event was graced by several prominent dignitaries, including former President Milos Zeman, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Martin Frelich, Chair of the India Friendship Group in Czech Parliament Stanislav Berkovec, Director General Industry and Trade David Müller, senior officials, business leaders, media representatives, members of the diplomatic corps, and the vibrant Indian community.

The reception was a joyous blend of culture, diplomacy, and friendship, showcasing the deepening bond between the two nations.
